Hand chain hoists are widely used in the boiler equipment industry, so what kind of inspection should be done before operation?
(1) Visual inspection. Check the hooks, chains and shafts for deformation or damage, and whether the pins passing through the roots are securely fastened.
(2) Upper and lower no-load tests. Check if the chain is twisted, whether the transmission part is flexible, and whether the chain is chained or not.
(3) Check before lifting. First tighten the chain hoist, check whether there is any abnormality in each part, and then test whether the anti-locking condition (commonly known as brake) of the friction plate, disc and ratchet ring is intact.
There is no harm in preparing for it. Not only can it greatly reduce the occurrence of safety accidents, but it can also extend the life of the chain hoist invisibly. Why not?
